WhatsApp users can rejoice, an important   innovation is coming.


Finally, the same profile can be used on several smartphones.

A significant number of users have been waiting for it for a long time, and the developers of WhatsApp have finally started to introduce the function, thanks to which not only computers and tablets will be able to be connected to an existing account, but also new smartphones - in Hungarian, the service can be used on several mobile phones with the same number. Thanks to this, for example, the account registered with our private number can also be used on our company phone


In addition to our default device (which has our registered phone number), it will be possible to add four more smartphones, in the same way as currently with a browser or the desktop application, and after that the available functions will be similar. We receive the messages, the calls go through, the end-to-end encryption is activated, and the data on the newly added devices is synchronized for a year.


It is also interesting that we also get a security function: if the default device is inactive for a longer period of time, WhatsApp will automatically log out of the connected devices.


The rollout of the update has begun, but the new version is not yet available here, but it will almost certainly appear in our region in the coming days or weeks.
